Social Networking: It’s War!
Lifestyle — By admin on October 22, 2011 6:18 pmTen years ago nobody had even hear of a social network but now everyone has to have one… why?
A social network is a website where people can interact with each other, plan meals out and play games. Facebook started in 2004, and Twitter opened their virtual gates in 2006, there was fierce competition between the two and so the social networking war began.
All social networks want to be the most popular because it is a great market for people all over the world. From pensioners to the modern generation of youth, social networks play a great part in their lives from uploading pictures of what you’ve been up to, to chatting with friends about meeting up and even finding friend from your secondary school from 20 years ago!
There is huge market for social networks setting up a great opportunity for companies to step up and become the best. Recently, there has been a rise in competition to emerge as the best social networking site. They have been updated, changed and armed for the Social Network War!
Google has tried the whole social network thing again, this time with Google+. This, according to Google, is “real life sharing, designed for the web”. You can make circles of friends to interact with and make video conferences.
However Facebook are fighting back and have teamed up with Skype to make video calls for the Facebook chat. This allows users to video call their friends directly via Facebook chat. Facebook have also made a live feed column to give instant updates on your friends. Other websites are also struggling for the title of the best social networking site ever made.
All want to emerge as the best. The question is… Who will?
