Farewell Wenger?
Sport — By admin on August 24, 2011 7:36 pmIn the past few years Manchester City have been gradually completing a massive transformation from a mid-table team to title challengers, and for the manger, Roberto Mancini, Nasri’s transfer is just the icing on the cake.
And how much of a coincidence is it that City’s latest signing came from the team that are heading in the complete opposite direction: Arsenal! To lose one star player is maybe acceptably, to lose two is just disastrous. Since Fabregas and Nasri’s departures, The Gunners have been victims of an incredible amount of pressure. Every player they failed to sign, every result that didn’t go their way, has been heavily criticised by the media.
And these bullets of disparagement have been predominantly targeted at Arsene Wenger, whose knees must be buckling after the vast amounts of expectation inflicted upon him and his Young Guns. He is now regularly booed by his own supporters, but is adamant that his way is right.
Let’s hope so, or Arsene wil be saying ‘Adieu!’…

Great headline very atracting and good use of retorical question. Although give a good opening paragraph you havent answered all the critical info in the first paragraph like who, what, where, when, why and how.
Despite what I said in the first paragraph the way you are writing and the emotive language you have used is great. The way you say how the media is critiscing them and contradicting that with wenger needs to buckle up is a great table turner on the readers opinion. I espacially like the way you start talking about man city when the main focus is wenger which is really interesting gives the article a bit of a twist. I love the fact that the beggining and the end is linked and that you have have used the french word for farewell then using the english word which is very clever. I also like the fact that you have included subtle humour like ‘His knees must be buckling under the expectation’. Great arcticle, great writing and now its ‘adieu’ from me!…
A very topical article on someone in the spotlight. Well-written, 9/10 for proof-reading!
This article is well written but then againg it is not amazingly eye catching. I think you come onto each aspect of the article very well. I like the way the title is a question so it drags the reader into it.
it is very well written and it it has a good structure and is also very interesting.i like the way they put the headline as a question so farewell wenger? means he might be leaving and he might not, so in my opinion i think it is goodthat it leaves you on a slight cliff hanger.
