Corrie Horror
Drama, Entertainment, Featured, TV & Film — By admin on December 7, 2010 8:12 pmIt is 50 years since the first episode was aired on television way back on the 6th December 1960. There is only one member of the original cast still in the hit T.V. show and whether you are a fan of the Mancunian soap or not you’ll no doubt of heard of Ken Barlow, played by actor William Roach.
William will also play his part in a first for Coronation Street when, on Thursday’s episode the whole cast will be performing live. Interviewed this week b
y soap stalwart website ‘What’s on TV’ William admitted, “Everyone is nervous about the live <show>. If you say you’re looking forward to the live you’re either a masochist or not being truthful’.
Coronation Street is a soap opera where day to day life in Manchester always seems to find a way of going wrong. There have been many stunts, deaths, romances and love affairs over the years, all adding to the spice and intrigue of the show.
The most recent sordid affair involves the character Leanne Battersby, who was having an affair behind fiance Peter Barlow’s back with her ex husband Nick Tilsley. Has she got away with it? Will it come to a dramatic conclusion at the wedding?
Another mouth watering tense story line set to be revealed this week involves Molly and Tyrone Dobbs. Molly had an affair with Kevin Webster, the local mechanic, who works with Tyrone, Kevin’s best mate. In the latest episode Tyrone finds out he is not Jack’s real father and Molly flees the scene with baby Jack towards the tram or does she?
Whatever happens this week it is set to be viewing of the highest quality and not to be missed.
According to ITV News the scene of the crash is described as a “total horror” as residents flee the scene of the shameful night. If you would like more information on this news there is an official report at www.itv.com/corrie and well worth a watch.
I think it is safe to say that the events taking place this week are very intense and just perfect for the 50th anniversary.

This article is very dramatic and tense. I was on the edge of my seat during the very epic tram crash. I agree with you 100% about everything you have mentioned above.
This article is well structured and gives quotes on what other people think and the writer’s opinion. It tells you what is happening and what will happen in the future.
This was a very dramatic report and was well structured.
